Awesome Kong Officially Gone from TNA

- Multiple sources report that Awesome Kong and TNA have officially agreed to part ways. Kong’s profile has been removed from the TNA roster page after weeks of talk that she was leaving. Kong had been telling friends that TNA agreed to release her from her deal and she thanked Dixie Carter on Twitter for wishing her the best in her future endeavors.

Kong reportedly asked for a 15% pay increase or a release from her contact and TNA chose to release her. It’s said that one of the reasons it took so long for TNA to grant her release is because they wanted to include a lengthy non-compete clause and she was asking for a normal 90 day non-compete. No word yet on the length of the non-compete in her release.

Outside of her feud with Gail Kim, Kong hasn’t impressed me much.

I liked as a Monster, she could go regardless of her size and could out of all women fight the men without really looking bad.

Awesome Kong and Mark Henry as a tag team… Hmmmm… I hope she comes into WWE and gets a huge push. TNA lost a great talent. No shock though, they are as inept.

way to go TNA, another great talent gone. How much you wanna bet that Ayako Hamada will be the next to leave TNA? Hopefully WWE will sign both of them…although Hamada in the WWE is kinda iffy because of the Yoshi Tatsu pulled with her in the past.

IT would be awesome to see her in WWE. But I dont think that will ever happen. But maybe one say WWE will get out of the funk they are in now and improve their product.

What the hell is TNA doing? Hogan and Bischoff are going to kill TNA like they did to WCW.

For the people that keep complaining about it being posted, it was never officially said she is gone from TNA she is now as of this post.

The issue was she kept posting twitter messages saying goodbye and crap like that and it was simply being reported on due to the heat with her and bubba.

The WWE simply wouldn’t really use her if she did ever go to them. The WWE has very little interest in the female wrestlers these days. At one time it was once entertaining to watch the matches then it moved to pure sex appeal and now its really just nothing.

I dunno, but the unprovoked physical attack on Bubba won’t do her any favors with WWE.

I worked for Sirius radio(rip off artists) when Bubba the lame sponge’s contract was up. You wouldn’t believe the crying that he did to get it renewed. I mean, it was funny.
